Window Effect

I made this simple layout to showcase the picture and message that I wanted to get across. It would be perfect for a piece of framed art, but I havn’t got it into the frame yet.

Supplies: transparency (plain, can be purchased at office supply store); picture, cardstock.

I used: Making Memories Rub-on title as well.

Steps:

1. Choose your photo and cut it into 1 inch pieces. Place them on the page and adhere them.

2. Cut a frame for them, or mat on white and then mat on black. (I will hopefully be posting my instructions on how I do this later in the week when I have some pics ready to post)

3. Cover the picture/frame with transparency.

4. add title, sentiment, and other embellishments.

The finished product is a kind of window-effect created by the cutting of the picture, the frame, and the transparency over top.

I love this page. I did something simlar with random pictures I had of flowers. I cut them all into 1 inch squares and covered an entire 12×12 page with them. It turned out lovely! It reallly make the photos pop off of the page.
