Cheesy Baked Chicken

I fixed this last week for “date night” with Chad and it was a huge hit!

I was inspired by a photo on Pinterest,  but as usual, I used the pic for inspiration and created a similar thing to my own tastes.

What you need:

4 chicken breasts, about 4 oz each
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1/3 cup italian bread crumbs
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup cheddar cheese (I actually used Colby Jack because that’s what I had at home)

What to do:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Get 3 bowls.  In the first bowl, put 1/2 cup butter.  In the second bowl, put 1/2 cup cheese.  In the last bowl combine the dry ingredients (flour, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese)
3.  Start dipping the chicken.  Dip in butter, then cheese (you may have to kinda push it into the chicken to get it to hold at first.  Then gently coat it in the dry mix.  Continue until all 4 chicken breasts have been coated.
4.  If desired, pour extra dry mix onto chicken, followed by the melted butter.
5.  Bake at 375 for about 20-25 minutes, or until juices run clean.
