Meal Plan 6/18 (Shopping from the Pantry)

My husband and I recently found out we will probably (like 99%) be moving to the other side of the state in about a month.  So, during the next month, my plan is to try and use up a lot of the storage from my freezer and pantry, so that we’ll have less to worry about in the move, especially frozen items since it’s a 5 hour trip.

I’m planning, as much as possible, to only shop for things like produce, and a few extras.  However, since I stock up things we’d normally eat anyway, you probably won’t see much difference in my meal plans.

We ended up taking hubby out yesterday for Father’s day, so my menu changed a bit.

Lunch:  Tuna with salad and crackers
Supper:  Pot Roast with carrots, mashed potatoes and green beans

Lunch:  Brown rice with vegetables
Supper:  Homemade Beef Stew (with pot roast leftovers)

Lunch: Picnic at the park
Supper: Spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread

Lunch:  Grilled cheese w/ veggies
Supper: Grilled Chicken, Ranch pasta salad w/ veggies, corn

Lunch: Taco Salad
Supper: BBQ ribs with baked potato and roasted broccoli

Lunch: Quesadillas with salsa
Supper: Pork Tenderloin with fried potatoes, green beans, and tomato slices

Lunch: Baked potatoes with salad
Supper: Homemade Calzones

Thanks, Trina! I, too, am working on managing our home better. I have suffered from depression for a long time and a lot of things got left by the wayside so now I’m trying to get back to where I need to be with a lot of things.

We love calzones too :) For the longest time we had them every single Saturday, but then schedules prohibited them for a while so we got off the weekly thing, but we still have them a couple times a month probably.

I have had periods of my life when I battled depression, too. It can be a very lonely time, but it sounds like you’re on the right track. I’ll keep you in my prayers!
