Taco Meat Recipe
What you need:
1 lb ground beef
1 can black bean
1 jar salsa or taco sauce
What to do:
1. Brown Beef in skillet, then drain excess grease.
2. Add black beans and salsa/taco sauce, simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Serve as you would any taco meat. It is shown served over a salad of lettuce, tomato, and cheese, with tortilla chips on the side. Add additional items like chives, sour cream, extra salsa, etc. as desired.
Time Saver Tip: Buy ground beef in bulk and brown it in a large skillet, in several batches if necessary. Freeze in freezer bags. You can also prepare extra taco meat, making tacos or taco salads a convenience food, since all you need to do is thaw/reheat meat and chop up some veggies to go with it. Great quick and easy dinner!

Adrienne, thanks for sharing. I make a party dish that is similar to that (we just don’t call it taco salad).
Forgot the cheddar cheese (shredded).
