Free Books

I love to read, and it’s even better if I can get books for FREE :)  So, I’ve decided to compile a list each week of my favorite FREE fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books.  I hope you enjoy :) I’m also working on an Amazon “store” that I can update it regularly and keep a

Please Note: At the time this post was written, the price of the books was FREE. However, prices are subject to change. Please verify that the price is still $0.00 before ordering.

PS–Did you know that you can read Kindle books from Amazon, even if you don’t have a kindle?  After you purchase, you can read online, and then you’ll have the book purchased, in case you later get a kindle. So if you’re interested in one of these freebies, go ahead and get it.

FREE Fiction:

1. In the Company of Secrets , by Judith Miller.  I have actually read this book, and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I was very excited to see it available for free!  If you like historical fiction/Christian fiction, you won’t be disappointed. It’s published by Bethany House, a very reputable publishing company.

2. Tomorrow’s Sun, by Becky Melby. Contemporary romance published by Barbour.

3. Out of Control, by Mary Connealy. I usually prefer historical fiction, but I have loved all of Mary Connealy’s books. She’s very fun and heartwarming.

4. Fools Rush In (Weddings by Bella), by Janice Thompson. Published by Revell. I haven’t actually read this one yet, but it comes highly recommended by my librarian friend, Regina (who writes at Inkspirational Messages)

5. Candle in the Darkness by Lynn Austin. This is another historical, set around the time of the Civil War, published by Bethany House Publishers.

Find more free books here at my Amazon Store…I created a store of free books only!  All were free when placed in the store and I will check them as often as possible, but please let me know if you find one that is no longer free for the kindle version.

Thanks, Meghan! I used to think that the only books for free were ones that were self-pubbed, which isn’t always a bad thing, but it can mean lesser quality…and who has hours to waste to find out? So I was pleasantly surprised when I found that sometimes books go free for a few days at a time from well-known authors and reputable publishers. I’ve been so excited! I actually put together a larger list here: http://astore.amazon.com/servijoyfu-20 I’m still working on the non-fiction one…it kinda takes a while to go through them and try to get the quality ones.

Wow, this is cool. I have to admit that I don’t have a Kindle but my husband does. I can read books on it but just can’t seem to get into it. I should really try sometime though because my friends sure seem to love theirs! Also a reminder that the Making Your Home Sing Monday linky party is live.

My “kindle” is on my iPad. Thanks for the tip. I usually get my list on Vessel Project and I love looking at my ‘library’! Don’t get to read as often as I like but it’s great to have all those books with me when I have some waiting time. Will visit your store- the best kind of store! Patsy

I love to hear your feedback and value your thoughts! All I ask is that we remain respectful and civil, even when we disagree. Thanks so much for reading. I appreciate you!
