You can find my most recent top 10 list here, or by searching “free books” on the site.

I have to admit that I am really a print book gal.  I love to feel the book in my hands while I’m reading. However, there are many advantages to eReaders.  And one of them is the abundance of free books!

The only problem with that is wading through all of them to find the good-quality ones. I have tried to do that for you, with an Amazon store that I update at least weekly full of the latest and greatest high-quality ebooks, from trusted authors and publishers.

So this week, I have updated my free ebooks store on Amazon, with over 50 FREE ebooks for Kindle.  I have a separate category for fiction and nonfiction.

Last time, I highlighted a bunch of light-hearted, Christian historical romance (which is MY preferred genre), but today I’m sharing some mystery/crime/action books, because I know some of you enjoy those as well.

Note: I have not read all of these books, but they are categorized as Christian books, and they are free so I am sharing them.  This is an affiliate link, so if you go on to purchase something else after the free book, I may receive a small percentage. Thank you for your support. All books were $0.00 when added (6/15), but the price is subject to change, so please double check before purchasing.

3. Can I have Joy in My Life? By R. C. Sproul. Reformation Trust Publishing (Note: The entire Crucial Questions Series is free)

Joy is a popular topic in Western culture today. Books explain how to find joy in a wide variety of activities. We speak of “joyous” occasions such as weddings and births. We sing about “Joy to the World” at Christmas. “Joy” remains a popular name for girls. But given the extent to which joy seems to be on our minds, few people seem to have it or even know what it is. In this Crucial Questions booklet, Dr. R.C. Sproul cuts through the confusion surrounding this popular but misunderstood attribute, showing the one sure path to deep, lasting joy—a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. By abiding in Christ, Dr. Sproul shows, we may experience fullness of joy—a joy that transcends unhappy circumstances and even permits us to rejoice with others because of the blessed hope Christ provides.
