Finding Calm in the Chaos (Scripture Lullabies)

This is a sponsored post. I was given the Scripture Lullabies CD for review. I was compensated for my time in facilitating this review and giveaway. However, all opinions are my own and I only endorse products I believe in.

I am SO excited about the product I’m going to share with you today! It is called Scripture Lullabies, and it is the most calming, peaceful music that I have ever listened to.

Scripture Lullabies

I live in a house of boys. I have two very active, rambunctious, energetic little boys. One of whom has been diagnosed with ASD and adhd. Sometimes, things are crazy around here!

My days look like a lot of this–a blur of motion:

A Blur of motion

Lots of craziness, silly faces, and laughter:

Although our house is sometimes messy, this is actually not a mess. It’s a made up game called “Dinosaur Smash.” A very loud, wild, and crazy game. That my kids play every. single. day.

Lots of dirt:

Lots of jumping around and climbing on anything and everything. And, of course, daddy gets in on the silliness.

Daddy gets in on the fun

And, sometimes, this–with two little ones, there are bound to be occasional fights, fits, tantrums, etc. Don’t worry, my son gave me permission to share this photo.

Basically, we have a lot of crazy, energetic, wild, chaotic fun around here. And it is fun. I love my life as a mom and I love my boys. But sometimes, I long for peace. Sometimes, it’s hard for us to calm down, breathe, and just rest in the stillness.

I’m guessing that your days can probably get a little hectic, chaotic, and stressful at times as well. Especially at this time of year. The holidays tend to be a stressful time for many people with more to-do list than time, lots of functions, visitors, traveling, financial worries, etc.

Basically, life can get a little hectic, chaotic, and stressful sometimes.

Finding Calm in the Chaos

One of my favorite ways to find peace in the midst of chaos is to meditate on God’s word and His promises.

This is the beauty of Scripture Lullabies. I have always loved music. A peaceful melody can be so calming.  And when God’s word is set to that peaceful melody, it is amazing how it can speak peacefulness right into my day, and into my boys as well.

If you’ve never heard any of these beautiful songs, I invite you to listen below for a sample. You can also download a free song (click the “free lullabies” tab near the top of the screen).

I was sent Hidden in My Heart, Vol I, and Hidden in My Heart, Vol II for review, and our entire family loves both of them. (Hidden in My Heart, Vol III–is currently in the works and set to release soon. Sign up for their newsletter to find out when it releases.)

We keep one in the house and one in our van. Living 2 hours from my in-laws and nearly 6 hours from my own family means that we go on a lot of long trips, and 2 overly tired or overly hyper little boys on a 6 hour trip is not a good thing. These lullabies are truly amazing at helping them to calm down in the midst of those times.

You can purchase the CD’s for $13.95 each (and that includes shipping!). They also offer the albums digitally. They have been kind enough to offer a discount as well. Use the code SLPROMO13 for a 15% discount! (Expires 12/31/13)

These would make great gifts for an expecting mother (great for little babies!), music lover, or frazzled mom. Everyone can enjoy these beautiful renditions of God’s word. And, as an added bonus, 1 out of every 10 “Hidden in My Heart” CD’s is donated to pregnancy centers across the country, so you can know that you are helping bring the word of God to others in a powerful way with your purchase.

You can also connect with Scripture Lullabies on facebook, pinterest, twitter, and youtube.

We would really like to win these, and we would use them in each of our children’s rooms at night, because we play Scripture songs and other Christian music for them every night.

Thank you for entering us. :-)

I love to hear your feedback and value your thoughts! All I ask is that we remain respectful and civil, even when we disagree. Thanks so much for reading. I appreciate you!
