For bloggers, I think time management and being organized are very important, especially for moms who are stay-at-home moms and trying to work their blogging around the first priority of being present with their children. Blogging is one of those things that can quickly take over everything if we let it. A great planner can help keep that from happening.
I want to say here that I am a planner by nature. And the truth is, I want to be. I love to have things planned out and be prepared, but I’m not always so good at it. So, it’s probably more accurate to say that I am fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants procrastinator, who longs to be a planner.
Yeah, that’s more like it.
But, I might have a mild obsession with planners in general. Seriously. I shared with you last year about how much I LOVE the Well-Planned Day planner, so when I found out that Home Educating Family now also makes a blog planner, I was super excited!
My Blog Planner by Well-Planned Day
This planner makes it easy to plan everything related to your blog. Above, you can see my blog planner with me at the Dairy Queen, which is where I go to work on writing and blogging. Some people have Starbucks or Panera, and others live in a tiny town and have DQ. It works!
So, let’s open up the planner, shall we? First off, there are lots of great blogging articles, and even a glossary at the back to help new bloggers learn some basic terminology.
The planner offers pages and spots for everything you need including:

- tracking for giveaways/reviews

Here is a shot of one of the weekly planning pages–you can see that there is a space for all of your post information, to-do’s, tags, where to share and link up, along with a place to record views, which is helpful for determining what types of posts are performing on your blog.
On that note, there is also a monthly evaluation page each month to help you keep track of things like successful posts, stats, notes and strategies, and income/expenses.
You can get the My Blog Planner from the HEDUA website for $19.99. Honestly, that is a great price for a planner that I have been dreaming about!!! Okay, maybe not quite dreaming about, but as a blogger, I have been wishing pretty hard for a great printed blogging planner and I am very excited to have one available.
And, now is the perfect time to get the My Blog Planner because it goes from July 2014-June 2015, so now is the perfect time to get it before the year starts and make full use of all the planning months!
