Free Video Course for Weary Moms…& a Confession from my new mom days

If you’ve been a reader for a while, you know that our family is on a very tight budget. For this reason, I’m always excited when I have an opportunity to GIVE you something, completely for free. Especially something that can encourage you in your mothering and homemaking, which I’m very passionate about.

This series has the power to do just that, and I love that it’s completely free to you.

How many times have you had one of THOSE days? You know the ones. You lost your temper and raised your voice at your kids, served take out for dinner, and you’re pulling clean clothes out of the baskets you put them in straight from the dryer.

The kids cried and so did you.

I’ll confess–when I was a new mother, I had a lot of those days. I was struggling with depression and my husband worked hard fighting forest fires–for 5 months out of every year, he worked 14-16 hour days, 7 days a week–many weeks he worked more than 100 hours in a week. He came home to eat dinner at 9 or 10 at night and fall into bed exhausted while I was by myself with a newborn and 2 year old all day, everyday. I didn’t have a support system and felt very alone.

Those were some hard days. There were so many days when I fell into bed at night sure that I was a failure as a mother. But you know what? There is light at the end of the tunnel. Tomorrow is a brand new day. And you’re probably doing better than you think!

This free video series was created by moms just like you–moms who know that feeling of doubt and discouragement. And they want to encourage you. Sometimes what you need is to share coffee and homemade cinnamon swirl quick bread with an encouraging friend.

Unfortunately, I can’t invite you over and give you a hug, but I can share some virtual encouragement with you, and you’ll feel like you’re chatting with a friend as you watch these videos.

You’ll get instant access to the first video when you enter your name and email address here.

These videos won’t solve all your problems, and much as they wish they could, Stephanie and Beth can’t reach through the computer and fold that pile’o’laundry for you. But we can all benefit from a fresh perspective and encouragement from someone who really gets it.

Each video is short – around 15 minutes, and you can watch it on any sort of device and whenever you’ve got a few spare minutes.

To watch the video series, just click this link and enter your name and email to sign up. You’ll get access to the first video today, and then one per day after that.

I love to hear your feedback and value your thoughts! All I ask is that we remain respectful and civil, even when we disagree. Thanks so much for reading. I appreciate you!
