I shared before that our family drinks water, almost exclusively. My husband has an occasional sweet tea or soda, and the children have 100% juice or milk sometimes, but day in and day out we drink water. Many of you have said that you would like to drink more water because you know it’s healthier, but you just get tired of drinking plain water.
So, I thought I would share with you one of my favorite things to make water a bit more fun, but still very healthy–infused waters.
How to Make Infused Waters
I have shared before one of my favorite refreshing infused waters, cucumber mint infused water. However, we have found that the possibilities are endless here, and the process is so easy!
All you need is: a glass jar for storing your water, water (we use filtered water), and fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. for flavoring. Put a few flavor enhancements in your water, and let it sit for a few hours or overnight, and you have some frugal, delicious infused water.
Some flavor combinations we like:
- Lemon + Cucumber + Mint Leaves
- Strawberry + Kiwi
- Apple + Strawberry
- Pineapple + Coconut
Play around with the amount of fruit you add, and play around with the flavors. It really is easy peasy to make your own natural infused waters.
A Great Deal on Storebought
My favorite naturally flavored water is Hint Water. As the name implies, Hint water offers just a *hint* of delicious fruity flavors. More importantly, they contain NO zero-calorie or diet sweeteners (including stevia), GMOs, Calories, preservatives, animal products (yes, Hint is vegan), or gluten.
Just all-natural water with a hint of fruit flavors.
Right now, you can save 50% on the variety pack (12 waters in pineapple, crisp apple, blackberry, and watermelon flavors), making it just $15 shipped! This is an amazing deal, so if you’ve been wanting a convenient option as opposed to doing it yourself, this is a great way to try it out at a great discount. Just use coupon code VARIETY15.
