There are things to love about every season, and I do my best to embrace the good points of all of them, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be Fall. I love everything about fall–the cooler temperatures, the crisp air that just feels a little bit fresher, snuggling up in a cozy sweater with a good book. *sigh* It’s the stuff dreams are made of.
After yet another week in the mid-90’s, we’ve finally been enjoying some of those falling temperatures this weekend and I am loving it. In addition to the coziness and cooler temperatures, I also love the delectable homey scents that fill the air–pumpkin, cinnamon, apple pies baking. I can smell it now. Baking scents were always my favorite scents of candles. However, with my MCS and other health problems, those scented candles are no longer an option for me. They now make me very ill. (which completely ruins that dreamy image I have of everything fall is meant to be).
Which is why I am *so excited* that essential oils provide me with a natural way to make my house smell great–and they also serve therapeutic purposes as well!
My favorite essential oil company, Rocky Mountain Oils, has released a new kit of blends just for fall. I was fortunate enough to receive early access to these blends, so we have been using them in our home and they are just lovely!
