Release Day!!! {Plus one way I’m using my journal}

As I shared in the introduction for my Women’s Prayer Journal, there is no right or wrong way to use it. However because I know that some people (I’m one of them) like a little bit of help with ideas or direction, I included a few ideas in the introduction. Today, I’m sharing one of the ways that I’m using the journal.

prayer journal in use

For this entry, I used the verse as a prompt, and started prayer journaling from there. This passage (Lamentations 3:22-23) has always inspired such gratitude and praise for me. So, that is where I started, just thanking the Lord that His mercies are new every morning. And then I went on from there as gratitude and thoughts flowed.

One of the things I learned in graduate school is that we often learn and process things through the act of writing. So even if you don’t think you have any thoughts about a particular verse, just start writing and see where the Holy Spirit takes you! The Lord may have things He wants to say to you through the act of writing and processing it out.

Release Day!!!

Today is release day for the journal. That means, no more waiting! If you pre-ordered the book, you should be getting your copy very soon (or even today if you ordered with your prime 2-day shipping). Reviews are starting to come in and I have been so blessed by them! I’m filled with gratitude that I had the opportunity to work with the folks at Althea Press to bring this project to fruition. Their designer really made it BEAUTIFUL, and I am thrilled with the final product, and I hope you will be too.

If you haven’t seen the beautiful inner pages, you can click here to see a few preview pages. There is beautiful color throughout the entire journal! You can also go here to be entered to win a copy.

I love to hear your feedback and value your thoughts! All I ask is that we remain respectful and civil, even when we disagree. Thanks so much for reading. I appreciate you!
